When you place an order, our checkout collects your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number and order details. If you join our email list, we store the email address you give us along with the welcome code you were sent.

We also receive basic technical information from your browser, such as the pages you visit and the device you use, so we can keep the site working properly.

We use your details to process and ship your order, send order confirmations and tracking updates, handle returns and warranty requests, and answer your emails. If you joined our list, we use your address to send occasional product news and offers, with an unsubscribe link in every message.

Checkout and payments are handled by our store platform, Wix, together with its payment providers. Your card number is entered on their secure checkout and is never seen or stored by Misty Magic Fan. We only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, plus the last four digits of the card so we can help with refunds.

We use cookies and browser storage that the store needs to work: remembering the items in your cart, keeping the checkout session secure, and remembering whether you have already seen our welcome offer. We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking scripts.

We share your details only with the services that help us run the shop: Wix for checkout and order management, payment processors to take payment, and shipping carriers to deliver your order. We may also disclose information where the law requires it. We never sell or rent your personal information.

Order records are kept as long as needed for accounting and tax requirements. Email list details stay on file until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the message or by emailing us directly. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as PIPEDA or the GDPR; we will honour reasonable requests either way.

Our store is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will remove it.

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date shown above. Material changes will be announced on the store.
